The live burn

Every number on this page is read from the XRP Ledger itself. The counters are exact right now; the leaderboard fills in as the one-time history backfill completes.

Who burns the hardest?

Every wallet that has ever delivered Schmeckles back to the issuer — including the ones that closed their trustline and vanished afterwards. Schmeckles sent through the community burn bot count for the wallet that sent them; the bot keeps only what it buys itself. Flip it to see the diamond hands instead.

Four years of fire

daily burns

Bars are square-root scaled so the monster burns don't flatten the daily ones — hover or tap for exact numbers.

Water the Flame Tree

The community ritual: hand 1 Schmeckle a day to the project's burn bot and it rides the next batch into nonexistence — one watering, counted once per wallet per day, growing the tree below. The Schmeckles Project was founded in Illawarra, NSW Australia — home of the Illawarra Flame Tree — and when the community's waterings hit 1000, the tree bursts into flames.

  1. Open Xaman and tap the scan button.
  2. Scan the code — the burn bot's address fills in as the destination. (Xaman won't send tokens straight to a blackholed issuer, so the project runs a bot that does the burning.)
  3. Pick Schmeckles, amount 1, slide to send.

That's the little buy bot that could — it also buys 0.0033 XRP of Schmeckles every 5 minutes, and every time it collects 50, it burns the lot and celebrates in Telegram. Chuga chuga, burn burn.

Your call, your keys, irreversible once burned. Verify the address against the project's own posts before sending, send only Schmeckles you're ready to lose forever — and never send XRP here expecting it back.

The only direction is down

Schmeckles has no mint button, no clawback and no transfer-fee skim. When a Schmeckle is delivered back to the issuer, the ledger itself deletes it from existence. Don't take our word for it — the receipts are public:

Master key disabled, regular key set to the blackhole address rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrBZbvji — nobody can ever sign as the issuer again.
No TransferRate, no clawback — supply can't be quietly taxed or seized. Burning is the only way the number moves.
Check it yourself: issuer on the XRPL explorer or on XRPScan.

NFTs feed the fire

100% of One of Ones initial sales go to market buys & burns (collabs split 50/50), and 5% secondary royalties burn too. Every auction shrinks the supply.

Games feed the fire

Competition entries are paid in Schmeckles — and burned. The Secret Sound comp put it plainly: “All Schmeckles correctly received through this competition will be burned.”

The community feeds the fire

Matching challenges, anniversary burns, weekly buy-and-burns from NFT proceeds — four years of it, one wallet at a time, all visible on the board above.
