Check the wheel yourself
The Whirly Dirly doesn't ask you to trust it. Every spin is sealed before the stream starts and can be re-run by anyone afterwards — including you, right here, in your own browser. Nothing on this page talks to us to get its answer.
How it works
- Before the stream, the wheel draws a secret number and publishes its fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash). It is now locked in — a different secret would produce a different fingerprint.
- When the wheel is spun, it writes down an XRP Ledger number that hasn't closed yet and starts turning. That ledger settles a few seconds later, while the wheel is still spinning — and its hash is decided by the whole XRP Ledger network, not by this site. The wheel is committed to it before it exists.
- The result comes from those two things combined, mapped onto the wheel in proportion to each slice's size. Not the animation — the animation just drives to the answer.
- After the stream, the secret is published. Anyone can check that it matches the fingerprint from step 1, and re-run every spin of the night.
The secret is locked in before the stream and the deciding number comes from a ledger this site does not control, so nobody can choose the result — not the stream, not the site, not whoever runs the server. Someone watching the ledger closely might see a spin resolve a moment before the screen does; they still could not change it, and the wheel was already committed. That is the part that matters.
