Help fill the Schmeckles pool

The Schmeckles / XRP AMM is a shared liquidity pool that people trade against. You can contribute assets and receive liquidity provider (LP) tokens representing your share. Trading fees stay in the pool and form part of that share.

Before you start: have Schmeckles and XRP in your wallet, with the Schmeckles trustline set up using the steps above. Keep enough XRP available for your wallet's reserve and transaction fees.

The currency name is Schmeckles. Some interfaces show its hex code:

  1. Open the right pool

    Open the Schmeckles / XRP pool on XPMarket and check the pair and issuer above. Choose Connect Wallet, select Xaman, and review the sign-in in your wallet. Never enter your secret numbers or recovery words into a website.

  2. Choose your deposit

    Select Deposit and enter the amount you want to contribute. For a deposit of both assets, use the pool's current ratio — equal value, not the same number of XRP and Schmeckles. Review both amounts, fees and the LP tokens you expect to receive.

    Use the pool's Deposit action. Do not send an ordinary payment to the pool or to the token issuer.

  3. Check, then sign

    Review the AMM Deposit request in Xaman: the pair, amounts and fee must match what you chose. Sign only when they do. Wait for a successful ledger confirmation and check your LP token balance.

    If confirmation is unclear, check your wallet's transaction history before trying again.

Getting your share back

Return to the same pool with the same wallet, choose Withdraw, and select how much of your position to redeem. Review the assets and amounts you will receive, then confirm the withdrawal in Xaman. Your LP tokens are exchanged for your share of the pool at its current balances.

Know the risk: your share changes as people trade. You may withdraw fewer XRP or Schmeckles than you put in, and your position can be worth less than simply holding the two assets separately (impermanent loss). Fees do not guarantee a profit. Only contribute what you can afford to lose.
